How do you manually transfer fuel?

Use gravity cross flow only

Selected X FLOW AUTO OVERRIDE to MAN, then selected the X FLOW on the low side to ON

Manual fuel transfer relies on the crossfeed path between left and right tanks. To control this transfer yourself, you first override the automatic crossflow by setting X FLOW to MAN. Once in manual, you open the crossfeed path on the low side (the side you want to receive fuel) to ON. This creates a deliberate flow from the other wing into the low-side tank, allowing fuel to move where you need it and helping balance the aircraft or ensure a pump has enough fuel.

Gravity-only crossflow isn’t reliable or controllable, and AUTO would let the system decide when to move fuel rather than you, which isn’t the same as a deliberate manual transfer. Using an external pump isn’t part of the standard crossfeed transfer procedure and isn’t how this manual transfer is performed.

Engage crossfeed valve to AUTO

Use external pump
